puberty aggression ocd tics

Your daughter sounds like my granddaughter. She is 11.3 and has tourettes and

is ocd and moderate to severe autism...as in she's not able to really identify

any abstract feelings...which makes everything very difficult. Her anger issues

have really esacalated...she is very aggressive. It is difficult to protect

yourself from her as she will come at you full force. The only med she is on is

tenex for her tics...which has helped for her tics. But we are wondering if the

tenex (the generic version) has made her anger issues worse as now when we look

at her behavior since the tenex that is when the banging and hitting etc really

escalated...but it has helped her vocal tics. One of the side effects listed is

irritability and maybe along with her puberty it is not a good combination. Her

doctor wants her to go on Abilify but we are concerned. We tried Rispederol

(sp?) and had horrible results.

This drug issue is a difficult one.

The bug thing sounds like my granddaughter with birds...even the shadow of a

bird and she goes ballistic.
