Hi mary i know what ur going through I agree that Zoloft may make things worse

not better. My daughter 13 has pmdd and when she is b4 her period was violent

anxious just terrible then deal w start JR high. Her doc perscribed prozac its

done well no med works the same for everyone Prozac has the same social stigma

as Zoloft but the bad outweighs the good w zoloft hugs prayers and lots

of Luck JULES

> Hi. Not about stem cell research, but I just wanted to tell you that my

daughter who is now 6 is finally starting to use some words. They are quite

imperfect, but she tries so hard to get her words out and she is slowly getting

there. When she was younger I would have dreams all the time about how she

could talk and then wake up and be sad. The time is finally arriving though so

keep your chin up and keep doing all the speach therapy you can (public school,

private, early intervention, etc.) and she will hopefully talk. Many of the

autistic kids we know start talking around 5 or 6.

Puberty is starting to kick in and the anxiety at school is too much.

ripped out her IV picked the pole up and threw it across the room. She started

hitting her head against a window (which I had never seen her do and haven't

seen it since) until in broke. She then pick up a peace of glass and started to

cut at herself. It took me, her father, 3 nurses, 6 doctors, 2 techs, and the

Dallas Police Department to hold her down. It then took 6 different medication

s to calm her down.
