Not about stem cell research, but I just wanted to tell you that my daughter who is now 6 is finally starting to use some words. They are quite imperfect, but she tries so hard to get her words out and she is slowly getting there. When she was younger I would have dreams all the time about how she could talk and then wake up and be sad. The time is finally arriving though so keep your chin up and keep doing all the speach therapy you can (public school, private, early intervention, etc.) and she will hopefully talk. Many of the autistic kids we know start talking around 5 or 6. > Daly > Rosie's Dad > Brick, NJ > >> >> hi all, >> just wanting to find out what everyone else thinks about stem cell therapy. >> I watched the Sunday Night show last Sunday and was very interested in the story about the mum who took her son to china to get the treatment. >> i am very interested to know more, i dont really know much about the scientific side of things, but it all sounds really promising. >> would love to hear from anyone who has has their child treated. >> my daughter is nearlly 4 so i was thinking she might be a little young. >> I am also wondering if anyone is doing the oxygen therapy with their child, that also sound good. >> its funny you know i always hear about these things and think does anyone really do it, but im at the point where i will try anything to help her. i think because she is non-verbal and nearlly turning 4 i am starting to worry that she wont, and thats ok but just to hear her voice again would be like a dream come true. >> Anyway im sure we all think the same way, for those who have non-verbal kiddies. >> Great love to the community out there >> hugs and kisses to all the kiddies >> > Back to top > Reply to sender > | > Reply to group > | > Reply via web post > Messages in this topic > (2) > 2a. > Zoloft anyone > Posted by: " mary_mulford " > marymulford@... >  > mary_mulford > Fri Nov 20, 2009 11:24 am (PST) > Hi Everyone, > I hope that you are doing well. My daughter was already in the hospital for Panceratitis. They put her on it. She did good for the first week. Then she got incredibly violent (worst then I have ever seen her) she ripped out her IV picked the pole up and threw it across the room. She started hitting her head against a window (which I had never seen her do and haven't seen it since) until in broke. She then pick up a peace of glass and started to cut at herself. It took me, her father, 3 nurses, 6 doctors, 2 techs, and the Dallas Police Department to hold her down.
