Guest guest
First, Sandi, thanks for the legwork you are doing on those ice-packs... It does get very humid here in Jersey and the ice-packs you describe would be perfect for us as well.... Next, to anyone who has experience with it, Noelle was offered the drug, VERSED, for the first time by the anesthesiologist before her last casting as a way to sedate/calm her down before going to the OR.... I refused it because I didn't have time to research it. I have looked up several blogs about it online and most offer very positive testimonials from parents and docs who have used it on children, but I am still very skeptical about it. I'm not at the point of letting them use it on her yet, but I am concerned that as she gets older she may get increasingly agitated and aware of what is going on and possibly need something to calm her..... Have any of you allowed Versed before casting/surgery and what reactions, if any, have you seen? I'd appreciate any responses! Steph
