Was on didrocal from the Doc and could not tollerate it.Thanks Kathy Calcium needs to be taken with Magnesium and vit D and Vit K, I believe. Click on this link and read about the roles D and K play. And, what the differences in K (K1 and K2) are. http://www.krispin.com/omega3.htm#Explained There is lots of info on Krispin's site about bone health, bone density etc. She is a clinical nutritionist. I think the reason mser's have a higher chance of getting osteoporosis is inactivity, not doing weight bearing exercises, and also you need to make sure you are getting the proper amount of vitamin D if you live in a northern climate. It is always good to have 20 minutes of sunlight a day without sunglasses on. This can be accomplished in the shade if you are sensitive to heat. Kathy Are you saying that sitting here in front of the computer is as bad as living in a northern climate. There are windows in the room but I never sit with direct sunlight on me for more than a few minutes. I get most of my direct sun by being stuck in the car as I drive about with the AC on all times of year. -

Guest guest
I heard also that vit K is important also. My husband tried to buy it from a health food store but apparently it is illegal to sell in Canada and can only get it from a physician?
