Guest guest
Hey All, Just checking in to say " Way to go all you body transforming animals you! " Happy to be doing this program, and feel happier every day. Yesterday I saw a rib. But have plenty of fat frosting to burn off yet. Tomorrow I do cardio and add another ab exercise. I'll for sure do a full round of each exercise and the ab vacs. If I can, I will attempt a second round. However I will be careful not to push it too much. I did the same thing to my back that Jen A did. Was doing my last set of seated press and something in my back on the right side got a catch and brought me to a slamming halt for about 5 mins. Did some stretches and got back to it. Still bothering me though. I'll do the noodle tonight when I get home (10:30 pm). That's all Folks. Guest guest
I've gained weight too but mine was definitely self inflicted. I have had horrible eating habits because of stress and a divorce. I wish I had lost weight from it instead but oh well. My ex gained about 40 pounds. I gained 15. Plus, I have gone out to eat a lot so that doesn't help. I excercise and have been cutting back but yes it is harder for me to take off. I dont know if its age or what but just like normies, we should be able to take it off. In fact, it should be easier because we malabsorb. So who knows? I think I still eat too many carbs. But I was down at around 160 and I am now at 173-177. I hate it. I'm trying to get it back down and have brought my water level up. I was drinking very little. But even with as much as I have been drinking, I am still going up and down the same few pounds. I need to lose this because barely any of my clothes fit or they are really tight. Not happy at all. This has happened over the last 8 months. It happened to me once before and I took the weight off. Hopefully I can do it again. I'm hearing about a lot of weight gain. Yucky. You said you read where the weight is hard to take off. Is that ds'ers you are referring to? Vicki G Thanks for sharing! I have a question for you long timers.... It seems like many have a weight bump up, around 15 to 20 pounds. I've read where they diet and exercise but the weight is hard to get off. I was wondering how much water everyone is drinking and if that might make a difference...or is it supplements?? I'm so fearful to the bump up as I've never lost the last 20 pounds. I did learn last week that it's so important for me to write down my protein and carb intake. If I don't write it down, I'm usually consuming a lot more carbs than I think! I've also learned from others sharing that I HAVE TO START EXERCISING!! that is going to be so important. One thing I've started doing is recording the exercise programs on tv, now I just have to do them! lol Let's keep the discussion going and maybe find a way that we can motivate and support each other. Have a great weekend! To: DS_Friends_Keshishian Sent: Fri, February 19, 2010 3:09:51 PMSubject: Checking In Hello ladies, Wanted to check in and tell Jo - Thanks for keeping this site alive! I am out almost 8 years come June. I am struggling with 20 lbs. as we have discussed. I bumped up my exercise at the gym in the last 2 weeks. I went from 20 to 30 reps - I know this is a plateau before he increases the weights. He also moved me to some different machines. My trainer weighed and measured me. My weight has been the same since October (last time I checked) My measurements remained the same except for my waist was a full inch smaller. YAHOO! I was very surprised and happy. It is amazing how after all this time that numbers are still so important! I am concentrating on Protein and " doing more " . I am hoping the change to spring helps me get moving even more. Wanted to share and support our group. Please don't lurk . Just check in and let everyone know there are people out there. Guest guest
I have the dreaded 20 pound bump and I have to say that I have been exercising almost every night for an hour and sometimes during my lunch break and can't seem to shake the extra weight. The next two weeks I'm going to replace two meals with protein shakes to see if I can take off just 5 or 10 pounds before my body lift in March. > > Thanks for sharing!
