Guest guest
go as slowly as you can - you don't need to stop but go more slowly. we don't give any other probios or antifungals or antibacterials because that's what it says in the blurb
Guest guest
and I forgot to say that he may be experiencing a burning pain when he urinates. This is because VSL3 breaks down oxalates. you should add bicarbonate of soda to his bathwater to help with this (alternate with epsom salts but presumably use only bicarbonate of soda if he's experiencing die-off) you can use up to 8 cups but you have to go low and slow with this too (well we did) we only put 1/4 cup in Tom's bath. Guest guest
Well, I hope I'm right Chriso - I think if it was me I might even give him a day off before giving him the one third again. We've seen amazing progress with Tom on VSL3. He's on 4 1/2 capsules a day and has been for ages (well over a month). That's 2 1/2 am and 2 pm. Recently I upped it to 5 and he was very withdrawn and ill-looking which i find amazing after so long on the supplement. Now I have dropped it back to 4 1/2 and will up it by 1/4 next time. don't know if that helps. (He's great again on 41/2 by the way) the other thing is that you can make yoghurt out of VSL3. Does your son tolerate goat's milk for example. I am going to start making that one day (in the middle of moving house at the moment though) and then worry less about the doseage. The symptoms sound like pain which is very sad and hard on him. don't forget to try the baths too. good luck.
