Guest guest Posted March 4, 2003 Report Share Posted March 4, 2003 After one year as of March 1st. I thought I would throw some things out there. I have been lurking for a couple of months. Best progress I had was the first three months. Did everything by the book. Next twelve weeks I started to add a free meal on Friday and Saturday. Progress slowed tremendously but I felt good. I went to a size 36 pants and was content. Still had the love handles. Going into the holidays I did the program around 80%. I did this just to stay even. Then it got really cold and I stopped running. Was doing splits every day instead but not giving it my best.----Result----no gain ---no lose. Conclusion---I want to lose another 10lbs. of fat so I am going back to the book. I tried it my way and it don`t work. So even if I am at 80% it translates to zero results. That was good enough for me but it is time to take it up a notch. Also, overall I feel better and my bloodwork is much improved. After a year I felt my way around and I do make better choices in general with nutrition. I never want to go back to fast food etc. BFL has changed my life for the better even though I did not follow it 100% all the time.
