I personally am allergic to many fruits & veggies. I cannot process herbs unless they are in a tea form. Also, am lactose intolerant, so looks like I'll be asking Skip for Acidophilus... Kitefest5: Please let us know if you can get acidophilus from Skip's. It's my understanding he only uses Avicel. I wanted to try something different and was told by Skip's they don't use other fillers. Thanks Arlene

I have been on LDN for 3 months...2 months my LDN came with calcium carbonate. I felt great. When I started my third month (about 20 days ago)...I started feeling horrible, bloated, weak.....increased MS symptoms!! I found out today that my pharmacy changed my filler ( without telling me) to lactose. I guess I am lactose intolerant, I don't do much dairy so never would have guessed that that tiny filler could be such a problem. Needless to say I let the Pharmacy "hear about it"...they are overnighting a new script to me. As always...we are in charge of our health, Cheers to your day, Sue ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The filler is important, I agree! Seems impossible that such a small amount of something can cause such problems, but it can. Many of us can attest to this! I started out with corn starch as a filler. It upset my system terribly! Many times didn't make it to the restroom in time! Not good! I switched to calcium carbonate and had NO problems. It must have been packed appropriately. I have now started Avicel with NO problems. My bladder issues were much better within 24 hours of starting LDN. I have noticed that now, 17 months later, that is even better. I do take 1000mg of Keppra, an anti-epileptic drug for spasms. It seems to help some too. LDN and Keppra are all that I take. Marcie

Guest guest
Arlene--I checked w/Skips on the filler issue. You're correct, Avicel is the only filler they use. They also told me that it's been their experience that Avicel poses the lowest risk of allergic reactions than most other fillers. arlizotte@... wrote: In a message dated 4/22/2005 1:07:10 AM Eastern Daylight Time, kitefest5@... writes: Hi Mark--I was happy to read the posts about the fillers in LDN.
