> Does this look like I had a good time at that concert?

> My Trip To See Clay

>

> It was late July 2010

> I dragged my mom and dad

> To the hotel and casino we used to spend our summers at

> To see the Clay and Timeless Tour

> That I have been anticipating for since I bought the tickets

>

> We checked in two days before the concert

> Immediately we started gambling the slot machines

> And having a few drinks

> I won $140 dollars

> At the video poker bar

> Drinking a chocolate martini

>

> The next day we went to Virginia City

> We played on the old slot machines

> I got two bloody marys and shared them with dad

> Looked at a gift shop and museum with artifacts

> Of ancient Nevada history

> And saw a large picture of a woman

> With a dress made of a thousand old silver tokens

> We went to a saloon

> Where they had a slot machine with free prizes

> I won a free drink and had a vodka gimlet

> We walked through the old western streets

> And saw the hundred mile view

> Went to Carson City and saw many old coins

> And rare pieces of miners coal

> Then went back and played Keno

> Both from the casino and our hotel room

>

> Then came the big day

> And I started to get anxious sitting in my room

> We went to the store to buy bowls to put our food in

> I bought a bottle of mango margarita

> And drank the whole bottle

> With a little lunch snack

> We went back to the casino, gambled a little bit

> And played Keno from our room

> I was anxiously waiting for the concert which is hours away

> Keeping on checking the time

> When we the room service we ordered came

> I began to feel naseous so I drank water with my meal

> I didn’t tell her until halfway during the meal

> But started eating anyway

> Then had a few Alka Selzer

> I was burping a lying about what I was feeling

> Because I didn’t want to miss the show

> I wanted to see Clay

> I was bouncing and rocking on the bed

> And couldn’t relax and stay still

> Maybe I was nervous

> For some apparent reason

>

> My mom and I left an hour before the show

> As we entered the Grand Expo Hall

> I saw a lot of women with their alcholic drinks

> Drinking stawberry margaritas from large souvenir glasses

> I ask mom if I would buy a drink

> And she got annoyed and said

> “Haven’t you had enough?â€

> And made a point that my stomach is still upset

> After we sat for a while, I told her that it was better

> And she said okay and I got a large strawberry margarita

> In the souvenier legacy glass that some of the women had

> As I drank my drink slowly, I began to feel naseous

> And the feeling of naseua lasted halfway through the show

> I so selfishly wanted to get that drink that I couldn’t think about my

health

>

> The show started off with singing “Flying Without Wingsâ€

> And Clay singing “This Is The Nightâ€

> Clay sounded just as beautiful and powerful as ever through the whole show

> Through his solo performances his voice soared

> He brought so much power and emotion

> Through his performances of “Mandy†and “When I See You Smileâ€

> He was crying and did a touching message to us the fans

> By pointing to us how he never would have made it without you

> He really showed us his love

> He was ever amazing through his powerful belts

> Even with his duets with

> As they unison danced and sang songs

> From the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s

> Songs that I grew up listening to

> And that I sang on my karaoke machine

> As Clay and sang together

> Their voices blended incredibly

> Even the two backup singers sang song

> As it always is in Clay’s concerts

> Both had voices that soar

> They cracked me up with their hilarious banter

> I got a kick out of their argument about the stools

> I screamed and cheered whenever Clay sang

> And yelled, “I love you, Clay!â€

> I even screamed and cheered

> When Clay did his funky foot work

> He healed me with his skit at the Church of

> Where he came to him with his “Lackofrhythmitisâ€

> And my stomach felt better a while afterwards

> After a few astounding numbers from the 90’s theme

> They ended the show with “I Had The Time Of My Lifeâ€

> Clay sang the female part hitting those amazing high notes

> And we were singing along

>

> Afterwards, we went to gamble on the slots a little bit

> Played more Keno and went back home

> Although I felt better when we came back

> I kept thinking that I wish I felt better at the concert

> I really enjoyed myself and I felt happy thinking about it

> But it would have been better if I didn’t get the nausea before then

> I seemed to have worked myself up over that concert for two months

> That it might have took a toll on my stomach

> When I went to bed at night, I seemed to feel like crying

>

> We left early in the morning

> And I left the only gambling money I had left

> The $140 dollars that I won

> Even though I was so relieved to be going back home

> I had the time of my life in Reno, Nevada

> With my man Clay

>
