Guest guest
When we did the diet a good few yrs back now the moderators absolutely did not allow posting on enzymes, complete no no as was anything biomedical, so as much as all here consider GF/CF biomed I wouldn't assume that all doing the diet consider it so. This article looks like many people running scared of the growing evidence in favour of biomed, environmental insults, etc, lets be absolutley clear a whole lot of people will be out of business if our kids are recovered, that includes all involved with GF foods, anyone making a living lecturing on diet, no one would be employed to come out and tell you how to set up a sensory room. Then there is the even bigger disaster for the government if vaccines are revealed as a major player in this epidemic. Also good old competition if you where a new parent and money is tight a choice between a conference addressing treating autism and one of the many other seminars, talks etc, what you going to pick? I just think it's a bit rich that someone who makes a living out of our kids is attacking others for making a living out of our kids, perhaps the competition is just too good. Guest guest
I find Mills more acceptable than Jacqui . He is quite ambivalent about stuff like diet and quite non-confrontational. You can feel that he is aware of the possibility of being used. Whereas the family stuff ............I wouldn't sell my kids for cash/publicity. I would say that they have decided to do a bio-med loonies story in anticipation of Kirby's stuff on Weds, rung up JJ and got a substantiating quote. Looked on Dan websites for practitioners in the UK and taken it from there. xx Sally MaddiganV@... wrote: > > When we did the diet a good few yrs back now the moderators absolutely > did not allow posting on enzymes, complete no no as was anything > biomedical, so as much as all here consider GF/CF biomed I wouldn't > assume that all doing the diet consider it so. > This article looks like many people running scared of the growing > evidence in favour of biomed, environmental insults, etc, lets be > absolutley clear a whole lot of people will be out of business if our > kids are recovered, that includes all involved with GF foods, anyone > making a living lecturing on diet, no one would be employed to come > out and tell you how to set up a sensory room. > Then there is the even bigger disaster for the government if vaccines > are revealed as a major player in this epidemic. > Also good old competition if you where a new parent and money is tight > a choice between a conference addressing treating autism and one of > the many other seminars, talks etc, what you going to pick? > I just think it's a bit rich that someone who makes a living out of > our kids is attacking others for making a living out of our kids, > perhaps the competition is just too good. > Vicky > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG. > Version: 8.0.100 / Virus Database: 269.24.4/1477 - Release Date: 01/06/2008 17:28 >

Guest guest
Journalists take lots of quotes and pick the best. Distortion is inevitable. RM was probably more wary of the context (ie the slippery evil-doers stuff) whereas JJ probably less careful -- and more dependent on the MoS. He would definitely not have been paid. She might have been paid for quoting/being pictured -- probably not -- but would certainly gain from the free publicity. He really had nothing to gain. The NAS doesn't need the publicity and all this just appears to align them ever more firmly in the anti-biomed camp Sally natasa778 wrote: > > yes, true, I was quite disgusted by R Mills 'see no evil hear no evil' > stance at first, but now realising his comments were probably distorted > as well. > > nx > > > > > > > > When we did the diet a good few yrs back now the moderators > absolutely > > > did not allow posting on enzymes, complete no no as was anything > > > biomedical, so as much as all here consider GF/CF biomed I wouldn't > > > assume that all doing the diet consider it so. > > > This article looks like many people running scared of the growing > > > evidence in favour of biomed, environmental insults, etc, lets be > > > absolutley clear a whole lot of people will be out of business if > our > > > kids are recovered, that includes all involved with GF foods, anyone > > > making a living lecturing on diet, no one would be employed to come > > > out and tell you how to set up a sensory room. > > > Then there is the even bigger disaster for the government if > vaccines > > > are revealed as a major player in this epidemic. > > > Also good old competition if you where a new parent and money is > tight > > > a choice between a conference addressing treating autism and one of > > > the many other seminars, talks etc, what you going to pick? > > > I just think it's a bit rich that someone who makes a living out > of > > > our kids is attacking others for making a living out of our kids, > > > perhaps the competition is just too good. > > > Vicky > > > > > > > > > > ---------------------------------------------------------- > > > > > > > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > > > Checked by AVG. > > > Version: 8.0.100 / Virus Database: 269.24.4/1477 - Release Date: > 01/06/2008 17:28 > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG. > Version: 8.0.100 / Virus Database: 269.24.4/1477 - Release Date: 01/06/2008 17:28 >
