Guest guest Posted August 21, 2008 Report Share Posted August 21, 2008 Just had to share this,my daughter called and said she had stopped to get gas this a.m. She said guess how much I paid?So of course I guessed like 4.50 a gal.Wrong! She said she started filling up and glance at the pump and it said she had 6 gal. in the tank and $2.00 on the amt.She thought she misread it,but evidently the person who set the price on the pump had messed up.She got her gas for .35 a gal! instead of $3.56 per gal.She said as soon as she noticed it,she stopped pumping and went in and told the girl in charge,she was afraid the girl would lose her job,but someone before got the same price on a different pump.so I guess none of them were right!If only that could be the real price,and I remember when my friends and I pooled our change and bought a few gallons to ride around town!
