's Sunday workout and a kettle bell question

Today I did one that I haven't done before. It is called Ultimate Body, Challenging Workouts for Weight Loss with Meghan White. I had never even heard of her before. I got this one from swap a dvd.com. This one has a lot of different workouts on it. I did the Cardio Kickboxing one. I liked it a lot. I did it without the optional ab section. It was about 35 minutes long altogether. I have really been slacking on my cardio lately which is not helping with all this weight I have been gaining back. Now that Christmas is over, I am going to get back on track. I am not a New Year's person and never celebrate that anyways so that won't be a temptation for me. I am so afraid to get back on that scale on Tuesday for my weigh in, but as of today, it is on. I am seriously considering making a large kettle bell purchase on payday since it will be the last day of the month before my 2011 tight budget kicks in. Art of Strength website has free shipping right now, who knows how long that will last, I am hoping until New Year's at least. I hear their kettlebells are very good. Can kettlebells be used in place of dumbbells for most things? I am assuming so, but I am not sure, because I need some heavier dumbells, but if kettlebells are interchangeable and more useful for other things as well, I may as well just get some of those instead. Are there times when more than one kettle bell is needed, like a pair of them? My son is interested in them as well and said he will help to pay for them if I want him to. Has anyone tried the AOS kettlebells, if so, what is your opinion of them? Have a great day everyone. I really am very happy to have all of you here as my friends, even though I have never actually "met" any of you, you are some of my very bestest friends. I am looking forward to going into the new year with each and every one of you.
