I'm trying to formulate my resolution to provide for our daughter's future. Our

journey through her Autism is making strides. That said, like most parents of

special needs children, I wonder if we will have the funds to accommodate her

needs...and how to provide for her adulthood, if she still needs assistance.

Insurance doesn't cover most of her therapies, and I don't know if that will

change if healthcare reform goes through. Plus I have my own health issues. I've

looked at getting a job at a local retail store, but I am the primary

facilitator/teacher of her Son-Rise Program, so I just can't justify the time

away from her. So, I'm trying to think of a business that I could start at home.

I'm looking for some ideas.

I've organized or helped with fund raisers (walks/concert/etc.) for Autism

charities in the past and have done dog rescue, but I have come to realize that

with my stage 3 kidney disease I need to get our own financial foundation solid

for our daughter's future (in case something happens to me) before I try to do

for everybody else. I want to do more charity stuff in the future, but I need

to figure out a sustainable income so our daughter has what she needs long term.

Your insights are appreciated.

Peace be with you!---
