Guest guest
I'm just wondering if anyone goes through any pre-workout rituals to get themselves mentally ready for working out, and also how do they psyche themselves up to get through those last few reps, or that last rep in your set? I am going to give you an honest answer and I am sure that most will figure I am joking. I do a pre-workout visualization of what I looked and felt like before I started taking care of myself. When I get to the final reps, the ones where I know I can do no more, I am done, I visualize McLish saying come on TwoWalks, just one more and then, come on TwoWalks three more and I'm yours. Guest guest
I saw a book on http://www.amazon.com called " Mind Over Muscle. " I really could use a book like that cuz sometimes I disappoint myself when it comes to cranking out one or two more reps. I took a spin class for the first time in my life on Tuesday and the music was very exercise positive. Very techno with a beat, repeating over and over things like " move your body. " I think simple messages like that must be good for the psychie. Jeff
