fell off the wagon after the last challenge. I was still on the track

with workouts

I have gained most of the weight back that I had lost. still in the

smaller clothes.)

Hey some good news! Don't beat yourself up until you have all the

facts and do an analysis of them. Same size smaller clothes - eating

higher calorie diet and sticking with the workouts adds up to a couple

of things just at a glance. Higher calories - higher weight- same

size = possible muscle mass.

Also think of how you are viewing the first challenge differently now,

you learned a lot - you know you can do it. And the most IMPORTANT

thing of all - If it is not something we can or will do forever it is

only temporary. Sooooo, smile, call it a bulking phase and get your

glutes back to work.

I had a similar experience after my first challenge, and decided to do this

one again by the book. Actually I decided to do it MORE by the book. I got

the new Success Journal and have been using it the whole time. This means I

plan my meals more than I did and write down everything I eat better than I

did.

I'm having trouble with the daily goals section because I feel a little

strange putting the same things - " Eat clean " " workout " - in every day. I

need to get more dedicated. But I'm doing much better with the daily focus

it give me.

OK I will fess up. In all my challenges I've had trouble sticking to

the nutrition because of my sweet tooth. But when I stick to the

nutrition I have energy and don't go hungry. I think joining the

challenge officially this time will keep me accountable. And again I

know this group will kick me in the butt when I need to stay in line.

ly I am P.O.'d that the $250 in EAS certificates wasn't sent to

me since I completed my first official challenge in November. It

gives me another " excuse " not to take BFL's contest seriously.

Food is fuel. There's good hi-grade fuel and bad and low-grade

fuel. The bad fuel leads to ailments as you grow older. The good

fuel keeps you healthy and strong. I think about the people in Body

for Life with stories of extreme hardships, who wish they could do

the things we can do because we have normal bodies. Makes me feel

kind of guilty to waste it on bad fuel. OK, I know all this

intellectually. Now to set it in motion and cross the abyss. I feel

so close, but and I alone can stop holding myself back.

Janeen,

My thoughts exactly!! I think at times we think that we are doing

too much with everything else in our lives and want to skip over the

one thing we should concentrate on the most, bettering our bodies for

ourselves!

Congrats on starting again:) Here's hoping you have great success

with your new plan!
