I hate the new format has switched to. You see replies before you do the original post. It used to be in descending order and now it's ascending order. If you haven't clicked on Edit My Membership and made your choices on how you want to read your messages, you certainly need to. If you don't, you get a bunch of posts and replies sent to your inbox. The LDN must have worked very rapidly for your psoriasis since you've only been on LDN for 17 days. How soon did you start seeing results? What percentage better is it in the 17 day time frame? I still have to use ointments and try to stay away from the corticosteroids. LDN has helped my P tremendously. Guest guest Posted March 29, 2005 Report Share Posted March 29, 2005 I too started with 4.5 mgs but due to extreme stiffening of my arm (to the point of rigidity) I had to cut back to 3.0 and will put up with the usuall mild stiffness that is a constant companion I did try the transdermal and for a very short while I thought it was working to lessen the stiffness but then it came back. Because I am getting such consistently good results from my professionally compounded LDN.I am hesitant to make my own liquid batch, as you probably read when I don't take even one nights worth I am set back about a week. I guess my Bro. and I will just have to accept this as good as it gets huh? I truly believe that your body wants to heal itself and it was made to repair itself but sometimes we just get overloaded with toxins and run out of materials with which to repair. My cousin has psoriasis and it's just about all over her body. I've suggested that LDN might help but I haven't too many posts about it on this forum to have her check with other psoriasis folk. Guest guest Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 I had a friend I put on LDN for increasingly severe psoriasis but he flaked after a week or two and went on Humira instead ( in all honesty I cant feel that he tried LDN the right way reqardless). I tried to suggest trying longer but he quit. How long did you go before you noted reasonable clearing of the plaques? What other if any adjunctive anti-inflammatories are you on if any? He tried to go higher but his hands began tremoring so he backed down. So far, so good. His body is having some kind of a reaction, the spots have halos of skin pulling back from them. Kind of like a sunburn peel. If it works we will post photos before and after. Definitely worth a try.
