's Christmas Eve workout

Today I am kinda crappy still. I had asked my family not to start bugging me until about 11:00 AM. Since I am on vacation I told them I wanted to enjoy Christmas my way for a change, since hubby is out of town. I stayed up until about 2 or 3 AM watching Christmas movies since I had spent the whole day cleaning. I asked my daughter (she is 29 years old, but developmentally disabled, her mind is more like a child), to not call me until 11:00 so that way I could sleep in and get my workout done and be ready to start the day. Anyways, she called me at 7:00 and woke me up to ask me if I had any butter for the french bread. I was kinda snippy with her so she got mad and hung up on me. Then I decided to just get up and start my workout. Today I did Cathe sts total body for the first time. I did mostly all of it, I did not do the tricep dips. I did half of the ab portion but then my daughter had already called me about 4 more times but I hadn't answered the phone, but she sent the kids over and so then I just gave up on my workout, fast forwarded to the stretch portion and only did part of that and now am off to start fixing dinner. I really liked this workout. Today was the first time I used my turbo tower, very handy item. While I was doing those thingys with the sliding disks it was kinda scary, it was my first time using those as well, I was kinda afraid I was going to do some involuntary splits, they are very slidey, thats for sure. I will get better on those I am sure. I really do need some heavier dumbells as the heaviest I have are 10's and I really need heavier for the back exercise rows. I was having trouble getting the barbell weights right as I only have the target cheapo and it only has 25, 15 and 10 pound plates and I couldnt get it how I wanted it, but then my son came in and asked me " well don't you have some 5 and some 2 1/2 pound ankle weights and I said yes. So then he closed them up and slipped them on the end of the barbell and woolah, it was perfect. I don't know why I didn't think of that, probably because I am crabby and tired today. Now I'm kinda wondering if that would work for my dumbell problem as well, maybe I could slip those around a 10 pound db to make it heavier for the rows. Hmmm. anyways, all in all, I like this workout a lot and will try to do all of it the next time in peace without interruptions. I viewed the section at the end of the disk about weight selection, but I didn't understand it. I just used what felt right for me.
