Guest guest
Transition is not a problem for her. It never has been, we've been very lucky. She's asserting herself. She's raw now, but we'll buff some of that out. Quite typical in some respects..... Many thanks for your thoughts.... > > Does your dauter have a transition thing that she brings with her everywhere? With my daughter (now 7), she brings an animal or sometimes several with her everywhere. She has her " agents " that are in her backpack for school, cats and dogs that go to sports practice with her sister, a group that goes to the grocery store, etc. It used to make me a little crazy when we gathered up all these " things " everytime we had to leave the house. Then after reading on this post, I realized that she needed these things to transition from home to wherever we were going. She even takes a " friend " in the bath or shower. Her " friend " gets a shampoo just like she does. No more battles. It takes a while for the plush animals to dry, but it's worth it. > >
