Guest guest
Okay. Officially, the kettlebell rotation is OVER. This is the first time in my life that I've quite a rotation! Oh well.  I decided I need fun. While I have been enjoying my kettlebell workouts, I don't call them fun...at all..and I'm missing my others! I was originally thinking they are shorter and I can modify them easily enough with using a lighter bell for these few weeks of pregnancy. Well, I can modify nearly any workout, and I have a lot of short ones. So goodbye kettlebell workouts for now With that said, I chose Cathe's Athletic Step today.. I got my booty kicked and modified a lot. I still enjoyed it, even though it was very difficult for me. My heart rate was like in the 150's, and it felt like I was in the 170's at times! Oh well. I haven't done a steady state cardio workout in awhile either. I imagine that, combined with pregnancy and cold... not a great mixture. In the end I burned 459 calories with my average at 134. I missed Cathe and it felt good to " meet " with her again today! Afterwards, I decided I would try one of my recent buys - Jackie Warner's Extreme Crunchless Abs. I did the standing ab portion. I liked it. I like Jackie a lot. Just don't care for her show much. Anyway, the workout had a good beat to it, and the time went by fast. One of the backgrounder's was built! She looked fab! Jackie joked a bit here and there, which also made the workout better (I thought). Not sure if I'll be feeling it tomorrow or not. If so, I would think it would be in my obliques. Standing ab-work doesn't usually do much for me otherwise. This one also had my heart rate up. But, it was probably more me than the actual workout? I burned 161 calories with my average at 131 in the 15 minutes. Enjoy your day everyone! I need to put some laundry away, and maybe do some cut-out cookies today (last think I feel like doing!)Darcy
