Guest guest
Please send an email today or tomorrow (no later than the 15th) to: hhs.communications@... regarding the budget cuts, please urge the Health and Human Service Commissioner not to cut the budget for any program serving individuals know that individuals with disabilities, we have very few services in Texas as it is. It is vitally important that they not cut any of the programs that help these individuals, especially not the new Medicaid buy in for people with disabilities. This is the only option for insurance for many families for children that are not receiving a Medicaid Waiver Program (which we all know is many families since the waiting list is about 10 yrs long). Thanks for your help, Nagla Please do, highly recommend this as of now have also heard lots of Budget cuts going on already with the CLASS program. Yep, it's already happening & shall hear more coming up soon. Y'all know this helps many with specialized services, respite, etc. Need to come together & let your voices be heard even if your individual is not receiving any of these medicaid waiver funds or on the wait list. It is coming together in numbers. Thanks, Irma From: Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities Public Hearing on Budget Reduction Options Gov. Rick , Lt. Gov.
