Tom my dear:

It's astounding to me how people have blinders to things they don't

understand or have never heard of. I've always thought that learning

something everyday was the pursuit of most adults but I've found

through my own experience this isn't true.

My own desire to learn something new everyday doesn't transfer to

those that prefer idiotic bliss to knowledge and experience. Thanks,

by the way, for the reference to mother in laws as well. My mother

in law is still bent on my just trying to get attention by making up

this illness when all I have to do is " admit I'm fat. " See? Idiotic

bliss.

Dear Ellen,

I'll have to borrow your wise coment of " ignorante bliss " as I'll been trying

to find a suitable term just for those.

I have one I heard of & keept: " You give a sugestion to the wise one & he'll

be gratefull. You give it to the stupid one & he'll hate you ! "

I hate to eve think of this but I believe in it whole heartedly, that every

thing comes around. Some how your

mother in law's " turn " will come to aunt her.(seen it too many time NOT to

ever fail)
