Guest guest
Hi, My name is and my email address is nalawoman@...I live in the Portland OR metro area, and I am a raw milk consumer, & a wanna-be farmer!Raw Dairy sales are available in Oregon: On site farm sales only on a farm with 3 or fewer producing cows... also available only through cow shares. I think raw goat milk is legal to sell in stores...As for me, I was raised on Raw Milk, then had an interlude with pasturized, then went to Soy in a beginning/uninformed effort to clean up my diet... now I have been back to Raw for about 7 years! I have 6 kids, the oldest is 16, youngest is 2... I am 37, going on 27!I got 12 cavities in a very short period of time, while nursing my 4th baby, while drinking Soy Milk... and that particular baby's molars erupted with cavities already forming in them.So I started looking for answers & found Weston Price/Nourishing Traditions.By applying some of their principles & switching to Raw Milk, I successfully nursed my 5th & 6th kids for 18 mos each, without anymore cavities. And the babies had strong teeth too.I have also improved my overall health so that I don't come down with infections at the drop of a hat anymore. I haven't had any antibiotics for these last 7 years.I milk a friend's jerseys twice a week, occasionally make mozzarella, butter... Kefir, Kombucha, lacto-fermented pickles. I am wanting to get more into the Nourishing Traditions methods, and convert over to a mostly Raw, Living diet. Thanks for reading my post, and I am looking forward to getting to know y'all!~
