Guest guest
Good job, Vennitta! Discipline is so hard at the moment but you *do* forget about food, it's not like some hot guy you forever kick yourself for not striking up a conversation with, and all these small renunciations really do add up to inches! So I was thinking I might try getting a quick 2nd workout in in the evenings when I get home from work, just a quick 30 minute ride on the bike to my own music in the dark by candlelight to spin out anything on my mind before drinking a casein shake, taking a bath and hitting the sack. It would be a good way to burn off a couple hundred extra calories and to release any stress from the day. We'll see what happens!Tomorrow I *really* want to do another RPM workout but my arse is sore from sitting in the saddle for an hour the first time and I should really do Round 43 to the dvd to get a feel for the choreography. I'd do Push Circuit 1 again but my triceps are STILL sore from Friday's Push Circuit 3 doing the pullovers with a 35 lb kettlebell and I don't want to overtrain them since that's the focus of PC1. Hope everyone has sweet dreams tonite! Go loose pants girl! It's so great when you lose inches isn't it? I found myself shopping for pretty healthy Thanksgiving foods when I when shopping in a pair of jeans that were tight and are now too big for me, I wanted to keep those jeans that way...this year no pie, no praline yams and I didn't miss either of them. Vennitta Yeah there's a woman at work who's skinny fat and I would rather have my overweight but strong body than hers ANY DAY. She catches every single flu and cold that goes around and she's out for at least 2 weeks each time, sometimes it turns into pnemonia. She has a frail constitution. I try not to pay too much attention to the scale but to how my clothes fit, and right now I'm happy to say my pants are getting lose again! So happy about this! I like to say overfat vs. overweight, the 'weight' part varies by body composition so much but too much white body fat, is too much and is the problem...Think of the skinny fat people, I had a roommate (years ago) and from the outside she was thin and beautiful and I was chunky, we had our body fat tested and while mine was a little high, hers so high that the trainers were concerned, the chunky girl was the healthier girl Vennitta BMI can mislead people into thinking they are either healthy or unhealthy when they aren't. For example, someone like or Darcy may be considered obese because they weigh more than they " should " according to the BMI charts. In fact, they are very healthy and weigh more because they have more muscle than fat. One study tim did showed that exercise had a huge protective effect. judy in DC who is just working not exercising!!!http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704369304575633020529541994.html
