Guest guest
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I cooked for 5 people yesterday, but there was sooooo much food. I didn't even make it to dessert before I had to push away, LOL. I had pie, stuffing and gravy for breakfast, though. YUM. I've been pretty busy, but I'm keeping up with my STS rotation. No cycling this week.I started STS Meso 3 this week, and I LOVE it. Why don't I marry it? This is my kind of thing. I love the heavier weights. I love the long rests. I could NOT decide which option I wanted for legs, The set comes with the Plyo Legs option for Meso 3, but I also bought the squat rack set. I'm up for legs today and have decided that I will do both options. I want it all, LOLOL! The normal Meso 3 looks like this:Week 1Mon: Chest and backWed: Plyo LegsFri: Shoulders Biceps TricepsWeek 2 Mon: Chest and backWed: Plyo LegsFri: Shoulders Biceps TricepsWeek 3Mon: Chest and backWed: Plyo LegsFri: Shoulders Biceps Triceps Week 4Mon: Chest and backWed: Plyo LegsFri: Shoulders Biceps TricepsMy rotation:I want to use both leg options, even if it hits legs more often. Not a bad thing for a cyclist! I can add to the upper body each week by adding push ups, pull ups, core work, and certain KB moves such as DiLuglio's " triple crush " or renegade rows. That'll ensure that the whole upper body gets worked each week. I'll play it by ear. I would be cycling and walking for cardio. It will obviously take more than a month to finish. Maybe I'll put the add-ons on the cardio days as needed. STS every other day, incorporating rest days as needed, this is my preferred order:Disk 25 Chest and back + triple crushDisk 26 Plyo LegsDisk 27: Shoulders Biceps Triceps (perhaps add pull ups and push ups here) Disk 37: Legs: Squat Rack DiskDisk 28: Chest and back + triple crushDisk 29: Plyo LegsDisk 30: Shoulders Biceps Triceps plus push ups & pull upsDisk 38: Legs: Squat Rack Disk Disk 31: Chest and back + triple crushDisk 32: Plyo LegsDisk 33: Shoulders Biceps Triceps plus push ups & pull upsDisk 39: Legs: Squat Rack Disk Disk 34: Chest and back + triple crushDisk 35: Plyo LegsDisk 36: Shoulders Biceps Triceps plus push ups & pull upsDisk 40: Legs: Squat Rack Disk Oh, and I'll insert the new STS Total body workout in here somewhere. The disk should arrive on Monday.Happy Workouts!
