Guest guest Posted December 12, 2010 Report Share Posted December 12, 2010 Yay!! I got a butt-kicker of a workout in, and it felt GREAT!! I nearly did a step workout today instead of kettlebell. I don't know that I'm getting burned out on my kettlebell workouts, but I'm missing my others. I decided that I would do the Kettlebell Way as planned, and am so glad I did. I really love this workout. I used my 35lb bell for a lot of the exercises, dropping to 25 for a few (turkish get-ups..overhead lunges..and prob a couple more) In the end I burned 500 with my average at 134. I was anxious to see what the heavy bag workout was about on Rapid Fire, so I put that in afterwards. I loved it. But, it was very short! I wish she would have doubled the time. I thought about doing it again, but then just thought I'd do the core section too. She uses a med ball for the core section and it starts off with standing work, then moves to the ground. I really enjoyed it as well. I am really happy with this DVD. Between the kettlebell workout and this one, I'd be surprised if I didn't have DOMS tomorrow. In the end w/ the heavy bag workout and core, I burned an additional 375 calories with my average at 142. I believe it was about 30 minutes when I shut my HRM off.
