Friday LONG walk and barre

Hi Everyone!I just finished my walk w/ my friend -we hit a record today - 1 hour 45 minutes! Woo Hoo! I don't know how far we went and I think we were slower than ususal - the cold was getting to us both. But, we made it.This morning, knowing I was going to be walking, I just did Kathy 's Total Body Lift (minus the ab work). Wow! My legs felt the burn. Upper body was good - too. I was able to do all the push-ups on my toes. I added on the matwork segments from Kathy's Peel off the Pounds Pilates to round everything out. I'm excited to be switching gears a bit. On Sunday I plan to do some form of cardio - maybe , maybe TM or I may take a break and use the recumbent bike. Then, I think I will do a longer barre-style routine (since it is the weekend and I don't have to rush as much in the a.m.) using Jen Galardi's Ballet workout. That is the plan for now. Although, Bernadette Giorgi's workout

sounds lovely, too!! It will be interesting to see if I can stick to my barre-Ellen-walk rotation. I'm worried that barre is going to totally wipe out my legs for cardio, but we shall see, I can always change up as needed.Take care!Donna

Great job on your walk! Today was actually pretty here and not horribly cold (32 but the sun was shining) but I didn't walk outside anyway. On my way to do my grocery shopping I passed a guy jogging, before the sun made things warm and thought about how glad I was to have already done my workout, INSIDE!

I don't know much about Total Body Lift, what kind of workout is it and do you recommend it? You know I like Kathy, as long as she isn't screaming or screeching that is! ;-) Have fun with your new (? sorry, been out of the loop this week, 'puter is finally totally fixed as of this afternoon) rotation!
