FEAT-Houston is pleased to present a new workshop in the 123s of ABA Series: "Teaching & Managing a Public School Classroom Using ABA" scheduled Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the University of Houston. Covering such topics as setting up and arranging your classroom for maximizing learning and minimizing problem behavior as well as distributing staff responsibilities, data collection (skill acquisition and behavior), schedules for classroom, staff, and individual students, inclusion, reinforcement systems, shadowing, and managing classes with higher ratios, the workshop will be presented by Ellen Catoe, M.A., BCBA, and Bivens, M. Ed., BCBA, of the Behavior Treatment & Training Center (BTTC) in Rosenberg.

This workshop is for parents, teachers and others who have some training in basic ABA skills.

About Our Presenters

Ellen Catoe, has been employed at the BTTC of Texana Center since September 2005 and currently works in the Training Center Day Treatment Program. Bivens, a former PPCD teacher for Spring Branch ISD, is the Lead Clinical Behavior Analyst for the day program.

Note: Previous attendance at an ABCs of ABA Series workshop is strongly recommended as attendees at the 123s workshops should be able to demonstrate basic behavioral teaching skills.
