Guest guest
Morning everyone, I'm back from my business trip to Toronto and trying to get back into an exercise routine. This morning I couldn't decide what to do, so I finally pulled out my rebounder and did a routine from the Schneider's Olympic Trainer book called The Daily Dozen. It's a sequence of exercises done on the rebounder using weights, for those interested here is the breakdown, I used 3lb weights this morning: Bicep Curl Shoulder Press Upright Row Tricep Press Squeeze Curl & Press Lateral Raise Crossovers High Knee Sprint Press up and out (shoulder press into lateral raise) Pullover Easy Jog I did 2 sets of 15 reps, it took about 40 minutes to complete because I also do 1 minute jogging sessions throughout as well. This was a routine I used to do every day and, if I recall, I was in the best shape back then as well. This routine works both muscular and cardiovascular systems and is excellent for moving the lymph through the body as well as building strong abs. I put some 60`s rock and roll on the stereo and had a lot of fun, I may start doing this daily again. Have a great Monday everyone. Guest guest
Been there, done that, hate the frustration of having to get back to where you were... hang in there, Andie, you're doing great now! Monday Morning Workout Almost forgot to post....did 30 day shred workout 1 this morning followed by Walk & Jog with Sansone. 30 day shred kicked my butt, I started with 7lbs, soon dropped to 5lbs and ended up with 3lbs.....I couldn't believe how much strength/endurance I've lost by not working out for 6 months....never again will I totally not work out, even doing 15-30 minutes a day would have kept me in condition at least.....live and learn....Andie
Guest guest
Don't give up we actually recondition pretty fast. Give yourself two weeks. I have had to take long breaks for surgeries, fibro, injuries and what not and the first two weeks are the worst but its worth it. Don't beat yourself up. Concentrate on how much you enjoy being back in the game ;-) I can't wait!!! a > > Almost forgot to post....did 30 day shred workout 1 this morning followed by > Walk & Jog with Sansone. 30 day shred kicked my butt, I started with > 7lbs, soon dropped to 5lbs and ended up with 3lbs.....I couldn't believe how > much strength/endurance I've lost by not working out for 6 months....never again > will I totally not work out, even doing 15-30 minutes a day would have kept me > in condition at least.....live and learn....Andie >
