Guest guest
>>I feel GSE is very harsh and will wipe all the flora, good and bad. Now that can be useful when you start out and need a clean slate but as time goes on I found it harder and harder to get a good balance established. I prefer Candex because the bugs can't become resitant and Biocidin as a killer because it deals with yeast bacteria and parasites and I feel avoids the ping pong effect ir go after yeast and the bacteria flares and so on. Has your lad been referred to Dr Fell? I know you struggle hard with his gut, maybe its time for a proper look in there? Mandi x a question about antifugals etc hi I was just wondering if everyone keeps their childs gut bug supplements gse,OoO etc in all the time forever I am just wondering if its wise my ds has had different ones in for 3 years now and i am wondering if this contributes to his constant gut issues melissaxx AOL's new homepage has launched. Guest guest
Get back in touch with Dr Fell and say that the GP won't give you a referral. Ask his advice. The real problem is the GP. Guest guest
, stools really should not smell of ammonnia, there is definitely something not right when they do, here is a link explaining what could be the problem, read no. 10 Stinky Stools! http://www.enzymestuff.com/rtstools.htm hth, Nikki In Autism-Biomedical-Europe , melissaeasthope@... wrote: > > hi mandi, we have been trying to get a referal for dr fell for a while but > cant and dr fell said to go see some one nearer ie birmingham but cant get a > refferal for anyone gp just prescribes more and more movicol last prescription > was 6 sachets a day dont give that many though gp is considering swapping to > adult movicol instead on pead one but i just hate the sound of that, so using > caricol, oxypowder and small doses of movicol, he actually seems ok gut bug > wise at the moment, just has hyperactivity after meals and bm's and bm's > smell like hair bleach you know like the stuff you use to dye your hair blonde, > we get yeast when we put zeolites in but haven't done that for a while > > melissaxx >
Guest guest
hi melissa if possible try to find a good homeopath or a naturopath, someone who knows about isopathic SANUM remedies. There is one remedy called Sanum Albicansan (Pleo Alb) – very powerful, goes after yeast in a big way. also other ones to lower stomac acids could be helpful like Citrokehl (Pleo Citro) and Alkalan (pleo Alkala). And more specific ones that go after specific pathogens these sanum remedies can be ordered from germany no rx needed but best if you go through someone who is trained in their use as they are quite powerful can forward some pdfs if interested... nx >>I feel GSE is very harsh and will wipe all the flora, good and bad. Guest guest
Hi , I think you've had some great advice already. Not sure if this will help but thought I'd mention that we work really hard still after 3 years on gut bugs. We try to rotate everything as much as possible. Whenever we tried pulling back - like just giving lots of probios or having a break - things went downhill after 1 day. Lots of enzymes, SCD diet, rotating and combining gut bug fighters, as well as always doing something for yeast and the occassional clear out. We keep a page a day diary too - it's really really useful to help us make connections between things whether it's behaviours or head- sweating etc. Best wishes, Sandy
Guest guest
We are with Houston Homeopaths, they use the Sanum remedies,Katy has been taking pleo remedies for yeast, strep and bacteria for a while .While she hasn't been able to handle a lot of herbs etc she seems to handle these quite well. Guest guest
thanks mandi, dr fell won't see shane i think he has closed his books to out of area refferals as when i contacted he told me to see prof murch as he was nearer ie in the same city, your pct refuses to xray on the basis they need to use too much radiation to xray the gut, i was thinking another visit to the gp saying that i put kirkman enzyme complete with isogest in and the ammonia smell along with the bad behavior seems to have vanished, that's something at least melissaxx

Guest guest
There is that Murch Study - Jo has it kept safe saying these kids should have xrays. I think there was some trick about getting a referral for Dr Fell - maybe it was Peta that used it? Specilaist centres or summat like that?? I never dyed my hair blonde it would go bright orange I am told (!) but ammonia is produced by gut bacteria as well as diet high in protein. Zeolites caused yeast for us when we started, very low doses and in about 24 hours for both me and Sam but got much better when we continued, threw in loads of Candex and Sacc Boulardii. But proper referral; and investigation is what he needs, we just have to figure out a way to get that I think Hang in there Mandi x Re: a question about antifugals etc hi mandi, we have been trying to get a referal for dr fell for a while but cant and dr fell said to go see some one nearer ie birmingham but cant get a refferal for anyone gp just prescribes more and more movicol last prescription was 6 sachets a day dont give that many though gp is considering swapping to adult movicol instead on pead one but i just hate the sound of that, so using caricol, oxypowder and small doses of movicol, he actually seems ok gut bug wise at the moment, just has hyperactivity after meals and bm's and bm's smell like hair bleach you know like the stuff you use to dye your hair blonde, we get yeast when we put zeolites in but haven't done that for a while melissaxx AOL's new homepage has launched. Guest guest
Did I miss something, I thought Simon Murch was up before the GMC currently? Simon Murch saw Tom - he might be worth a go now actually . We also saw a gastro in Nottingham who disagreed with Fell and Balzola! Sometimes you need to play ball to get what you want. If you see Murch - who did x ray Tom and was the first person to discover his terrible impaction problem - you never know, he may be encouraged to scope. When we saw him this GMC stuff was all looming, he was very, very cautious and discharged Tom after the second appoitnment prescribing just movicol and sacc boulardii (which we pay for). But, how to put this, Simon Murch knows whst's going on here. You could do worse than see him. IMHO Steph xx > > thanks mandi, dr fell won't see shane i think he has closed his books to out > of area refferals as when i contacted he told me to see prof murch as he was > nearer ie in the same city, your pct refuses to xray on the basis they need > to use too much radiation to xray the gut, i was thinking another visit to the > gp saying that i put kirkman enzyme complete with isogest in and the ammonia > smell along with the bad behavior seems to have vanished, that's something > at least > > melissaxx >
