Guest guest Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 Wednesday, February 18, 2009 aahhh yoga and treats morning all this morning i did yoga wisdom for back pain and tight hips doing level 1. actually there is no difference between level 1 and level 2 just one is 30 min(my time frame) and one is 60 min(what i would like to be my time frame LOL). its vinyasa flow done slower paced with floor work to stretch hips and legs. a little back benefits from some of the work but nothing i recall was meant for just really back tension. although some back pain has been linked to tight hips and legs so in a way it makes sense. it includes my favorite of all poses for hips,pigeon pose. love how it stretches the hip all over. i find the instructor a tad annoying sometimes but today it was a little different. she wasn't nearly as annoying and i focused more on the workout. it ends with a nice savasana and some more stretching.the other day i picked up jillian micheals' new banish fat boost metabolism, i found at sam's club for under$9. this is the no equipment cardio focused one. i was debating on the weights one but i really have to focus more of that stuff on my own so i passed. i also picked up 10 minute solution's hot body boot camp with amy bento. i have been back and forth on it for awhile but decided what the hey. its a boot camp style workout i love amy's ab work so at least i would have that and her stretch and some short cardio. there is a hold on a christi dvd i ordered so jen from advancedworkouts.com will ship out as soon as it comes in,week she hopes the end of the week. VERY excited for some more christi workouts.doing a major living room overhaul in the coming months. dh is buying a tv off of a friend,flat screen. so redoing with some new shelves etc but that always gets me in the mood for spring cleaning so clothes and videos i haven't worn or used the past year MUST go. no matter what!!!! i have so many that i am sure once i learn to let go i will be just fine LOL. mostly vhs ones that i could get on dvd now IF i really want them back that badly. which i might not even are gone once they are. and with MORE workouts coming in i probably wouldn't even care LOL.well freezing rain coming down and they have yet to even delay school so i guess i should get ready :-(. with freezing rain i say delay i mean we have 16 snow days to burn and we only used 2 so why not just cancel :-) so i don't have to go to work and i can spend time cleaning my home. oh well. fitness blogmy domainSpecial Needs Scouting Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like.-Will Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
