Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Today's workout was 's 4 Fast Miles from the Walk Slim Series. Love this one! Goes by fast and some vocal music - I so wish would upgrade her music choices! Followed up with Ana Caban's Core Challenge Pilates the full workout (since I had some extra time this a.m.). I liked this Pilates workout - it is "reformer" inspired (I would love to get a reformer someday!) so has some different exercises, which is nice for a change of pace. I ran to the library today after my DD's dental appointment and borrowed some of the older Lotte Berk Method DVDs. I had them at one time and traded them (big trader's remorse!) I can't do a lot of the pelvic tucking they do (gives my back fits) - but I figure I can modify and leave out the tucking. So, I'm going to fit those in this week. is doing a 12 days of Christmas challenge it sounds like it is like her 10 Day challenge (daily walk either 3, 4 or 5 miles). I may still stick w/ and walking as my main workouts through December. I may not stick solely with - may throw in some step or something, but I will definately be including her workouts in my rotation for December. Think I'm going to focus on trying out some barre work for strength as well as Pilates and Classical Stretch. I feel better with these workouts. Not over tired and not achey and the back is good, too! :)Hope everyone has a good day! - w/ those weather conditions, I don't blame you for bagging the Turkey Trot! That sounds pretty brutal. Donnap.s. Plan for tomorrow as of now is 5 miles on the TM w/ 30 min of Classical Stretch at the end.
