Guest guest
I have my own cow, and lots of milk. Thinking of doing a raw milk only diet. If you have NOT done one, please dont comment, or talk me out of it. But if you HAVE done this, please share positive or negatives. I want real experiences. My husband and I are both thinking of doing this. He needs to lower Blood Pressure. I need to lose weight ( a considerable amount) I am especially interested in people that have experiences with the BP and weight loss on the milk diet. Thanks! Guest guest
I did do it, but only for a week. I got really tired of milk It felt good - be very regular about drinking it. I had some times of feeling like I needed more in the way of protein, but I let too long go between drinking some. I lost 2 pounds. My mom and I are experiencing great weightloss having started the GAPS diet, drinking kefir not milk. And for high blood sugar, she discovered that massaging down along her middle finger repeatedly really really helps. Guest guest
I have tried for short periods of time, but have ahard time keeping my blood sugar up I got so terribly hungry and weak. and I have a very active job, I'm a farmer, I can't have milk with me everywhere I go. I thin it would be a great way to go, if I could just keep my blood sugar stable. I have a lot of health problems stemming from cleaning oil on the exxon valdez oil spill tha has effected my metabilism, nervouse system, and a lot of other things. But one thing I do know after almost 15 years of drinking raw goat milk, if I don't have it my heath begins to slip away and I become weaker and weaker. I wish I had known about raw goats milk sooner, it may have saved me a lot of troubles! I have tried raw cows milk several times and it does not work for me. We also milk sheep, and that is a good replacement for me for goats milk, I think I might be able to go on a raw sheep milk diet a little better then goats or cows, it is higher in fat and protien and I think a bit more sustaining. That is my experience, I have not really tried to lose weight as my dr. says I need to maintain, or gain a little. I would also say I felt good for a while, but then I just was so weak and hungry, I could not continue on. anyway that is my experience. matt Has anyone done a Raw Milk Diet? Milk Cure? Milk fast? Guest guest
I did one and followed the book as much as possible but did not have access to sufficient milk, but supplemented it with colostrum since I had a large quantity of that. I found it very quickly made a difference improving my health. Guest guest
What works for us and dealing with cravings is juicing organic green vegetables. Guest guest
I did raw goat milk for 21 days - milk and water only the entire time. I drank very small amounts very frequently, made sure to also drink plenty of water. I think the quantity of milk was nearly a gallon and a half daily. I did not get hungry at all even though I lost about 20 pounds. It was recommended that I supplement with psyllium, which I did. I have my own cow, and lots of milk.
