Guest guest
Hi, When I was getting the cream off my milk I filled 1/2 gallon canning jars with milk and put the lids on them. Set in the fridge overnight and it seemed to have the cream drawn to the top as long as the jar was filled and the lid was tight. Then I just skimmed the cream off and put in the freezer. Also, when I milked my Boer goats their milk was very rich and I would get a lot more cream from it, once over an inch on top of the milk! The Nubian seems to also give a lot of cream but nothing as compared to a cow. Hope that helps a bit!
