Guest guest
There was a great article I came across in a magazine here in The Woodlands called ReviewIt. There is a restaurant that opened up in Magnolia called Dragonfly Cafe. The person who owns it has a child with autism who appears to have done biomedical stuff for her kiddo. Looks like the menu has gluten-free, casein-free, etc. diet. In skimming the article, the cafe serves a host of allergen-free foods such as vegan, raw and gluten-free food options, rice pasta, panini sandwiches, natural soups, buffalo burgers, meals made from natural and free range meats, eggs, breakfast tacos with corn tortillas, coconut and organic rice ice cream, natural smoothies, vegetable-based protein drinks, loose-leaf teas, organic coffee, and even beer and wine. Some of the magazine's favorite breakfast items were: Chicken breakfast taco with lettuce, tomato, feta cheese in a corn tortilla; raspberry filled crepes with maple syrup or local honey; buckwheat pancakes with choice of fruit topping; white or brown rice bowl with salmon sprinkles and a side of wheat-free soy sauce and miso soup; gingerbread latte, London Fog Green Tea Matcha or Sour Apple Smoothie. Guest guest
Thanks Hilda, I can't believe it! This fast, I thought I'd have to open this restaurant for it to exist and I'm several years away from doing so. Also I have to laugh how far I've come...I know what all that shit on the menu is! In my prior to autism life I knew all the combo numbers at Mcs. ROFL YAY TO the mommy who has done this. One of many blessings our children bring as they change the world and make it a better place. Happy New Year all! Let's count our blessings and see all the good our children bring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jpz5eD9L4dA > > There was a great article I came across in a magazine here in The Woodlands called ReviewIt.
