Thanks to those of you who have responded with prayers and thoughts for good things....as I mentioned, I went to my PCP yesterday for a follow-up....I think I told ya'll about the swelling....i showed this to my doc who immediately became very concerned! He said that, of course, on my levels of Prednisone I should not have this much swelling...he referred to it as " significant " ! He ordered blood work-up (kidney and liver panels) for right then. He wrote Rx's for Lacix and Potassiun Chloride. He wants to see me next Monday....he said that if he had results from the blood work before then, he would call me..... AND< GET THIS: I had seen him two weeks ago...1 weighed my " normal " 240lbs. Yesterday I weighed 257lbs!! Just Damn! Doc looked at that and said that was ALL fluid...i had " gained " 17 lbs of fluid!! Yehaaaaaaaaa!!!! In all honesty folks, I'm worried....I would really appreciate your thoughts, prayers and any ideas you may have. Many Blessings! Larry B.
