I am new to kombucha and am trying to make my first scoby.

Everything was going okay but today I notice that the scoby has drifted

to the bottom of the jar. Is this a normal occurrence? It was sitting

on top.

hi Lori,

its doesnt matter one bit which way round your scoby is. it can be at the top,

middle or bottom of the jar as long as its covered in kombucha it really doesnt

matter.

in a cloudy UK :)

I believe in God, only i spell it nature.
