They exploit weaknesses in the software instead. Far better to just sanitize your Yahoo account and use Gmail for your regular mail and keep the Yahoo just for making access to the groups easier. I don't allow a single email or contact to reside in my Yahoo account or even trash. If they exploit it, there will be nothing in there to use. Sad to say, but Yahoo is declining into the oblivion of irrelevance and it's their own lack of vision and drive that is responsible.
