Guest guest
First of all, I wish I had more MONEY. As for exercise I would like to get adjustable dumbbells up to 45 or 50 lbs. I posted a question on here asking which kind of adjustable dumbbells are good and never got a response. Any ideas? Jen Never heard of the blissology project.. what kind of workout is that? I bought CLX for me... from my hubby! LOL I have been wanting it for a long time! I also asked for a Kettleball and dvd to go with it. Guest guest
I got the Classic 45 Powerblock on sale at a fitness store for 175 last year (they were going out of business). Yes expensive but I don't have any other dumbbells (Except some 1lb and 2lb) and these are easy to use. I don't have the fancy stand .. just put them on an old exercise mat that the dogs destroyed half of.. I love them.. took a bit to get use to the squareness (i.e. for putting on shoulders for squats etc). Someone on the list recommended them (sarah?) and they were correct nice set.http://www.powerblock.com/Classicseries.htmlFrom: To: exercisevideos Sent: Tue, December 7, 2010 11:45:25 AMSubject: Re: Wish list? Guest guest
I asked my hubby for a step, he said oh you want a stepper? No! An aerobic step, 15 and 20lb weights, 5lb kettlebell and thigh toner. And maybe a yoga mat if he is feeling generous. Guest guest
Sorry, you didn't get a response from me because I don't like adjustable dumbbells so I can't recommend any.  LOL  The one set I worked with a couple of years ago were by Bowflex and were clicky and confusing to adjust on the fly while training.  You literally had to turn the ends in opposite directions to get the same weight. I'll stick to my normal dumbbells.  Yes, they take up more space, but I can switch weights easier by having them lined up properly on the rack then having to fiddle with that adjustment between sets. Guest guest
I don't really need a lot on the DVD front.  I have too many I don't do now.  LOL  I do want some kettlebell DVD's though but haven't had time to research them to see which ones.  Other then that, my wish list consists of kettlebells (25 to 50 pounds maybe), MMA Conditioning Specialist Certification, and ACSM Certification (have to get this next year for school anyway, so I may as well get it early).  So what's on everybody's Christmas wish list for DVD's this year? Just wondering. -- Tonyawww.trainingwithtonya.comwww.smellabella.comwww.facebook.com/trainingwithtonya www.twitter.com/trainingwtonya
Guest guest
Hey , I just saw this message. I am thinking about starting it at the beginning of the year. I bought the deluxe CLX, so I can do some of those interval workouts in between my turbo kick, then start Burn on Jan. 2nd. Sound good to you? It would be nice to start it with someone... I need the accountability! LOL Teena Subject: Re: Wish list? To: exercisevideos Date: Tuesday, December 7, 2010, 8:59 AM Thanks, I will when I get started! Guest guest
Hi Tonya, I've read bad reviews on the bowflex weights. I would like to find all chrome weights that aren't too expensive. I live in a small townhouse so I don't have any room for a lot of equipment/weights. Jen Never heard of the blissology project.. what kind of workout is that? I bought CLX for me... from my hubby! Guest guest
My bedroom is upstairs so putting 10, 15 and 20 lbs weights under my bed or in my bedroom wouldn't be convenient.
