Guest guest
I agree with Kirsty, awareness can bring sadness, will just cry, no pain or anything, just sad, it started happening if we were anywhere around normal kids who could talk and play, cuts my heart out really. Vicky Re: Candex Saying that, watching Sam go through biomed, there were many stages we had like this. Alot of the time it was awareness of everything going on around him. It can be so hard for them to start coming out the fog and adjusting to the world. When Sam's hearing started to get better, he just could not handle the world. Being able to hear everything like we do was too much for him and we were like hermits with him for months. Its only been the last 3 months we are out and about with him again and he has slowly adjusted. They just cannot tell us what it is. Bless him :-) At least you know he will be getting better through AC K xx > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Best given on empty tummy. I give at night like a chelation dose. Guest guest
Yep Kirsty think you may be right, obviously not started chelation but with all the other new things going on he may already be getting more aware but have noticed he is also back to being particulary light sensitive again and slightly noise senstive again too. Holds his arm over his eyes alot lately. Could this be something to do with the Hemispheres excercises i wonder???? Guest guest
I just think it's a good idea anyway, space things out where possible, if you have a sensitive kid it makes life easier, we don't do slurries here and no need given the amount of hours the kids squeeze into a day! Vicky Re: Candex Ah I have been giving in first thing in morning and last thing at night but with his bio multi flora probio's - he is very up and down at the moment happy/sad, wondering if this is why??? Marina x Best given on empty tummy. I give at night like a chelation dose. I don't give probio's with it although some folks do Mandi x Hi All - does Candex have to be give at certain times/with/without food or away from other certain supplements? Guest guest
Ah this is sounding familiar,Jack has dropped certain foods lately and has now been given de-sensitizing excercises which he went mental with over the weekend but pulled me down on his mat last night to do them and seemed to enjoy them!! How on earth am I going to fit in Hemispheres, TST, Talk Tools and play therapy!!!! Someone book me into the Priory pleeeease lol! Marina x Oh yes it could def be down to addressing primitive reflexes which is what hemisphere do, tell them the next time you visit, they may be able to suggest things. When i first started with hemisphere, i was show the hand and feet exercises which help with speech, well his babbling took off but he started spitting out food then went through a stage of struggling to eat (or so it seemed) so i had to blend all his food up and give it to him like baby food with no lumps, when we went back, i got some exercises to de-sensitize his mouth and eventually this all calmed down and he started eating again. x To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: marinavrahimi@... Guest guest
Yes definitely, Harry is doing loads more at gymnastics and i put that down to hemisphere, he also (last year) suddenly started climbing everything, his confidence shot up, so did his vocalisation and eye contact, i does cost alot but we have seen such benefits it would be criminal to stop. x To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: marinavrahimi@...Date: Wed, 2 Mar 2011 14:13:12 +0000Subject: Re: Re: Candex Jack is trying to do headstands and rolie polies etc which he couldnt do before, think this is down to Hemispheres x No TST doesn't (as far as i know) address these, Hemisphere (who we go to and Marina too) addresses these, it has really helped Harry in lots of ways. http://www.hemispheres.org.uk/ x To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: greenkirsty1@...Date: Wed, 2 Mar 2011 14:03:36 +0000 Subject: Re: Candex Primitive reflexes....does this get addressed at Scotson?Sam badly has them!
