I like that workout too! It always surprises me too, how much she packs into it!

Tues - Walk & Barre

Hi Everyone,I REALLY didn't want to workout today - too cold around here and I'm tired and stressed over the holidays and work. I hope to make some headway in on-line shopping today to ease my anxiety about getting presents delivered on time. *SIGH* I really need an attitude adjustment and need to remember that it isn't about the presents, cards, etc. I need to just enjoy it and forget the "to do" list. Anyway, I threw in an "oldie" - 's 3 Mile from the Walk Away the Pounds for Abs series. This is the set that came with the walk-away belt. It was from 2001 and I have it on VHS instead of DVD. I was pleasantly surprised to find it fairly challenging and fun! Music was different from 's more recent releases and it was nice to exercise with in a bright setting with a group of background exercisers! I felt the pace on this one was fairly decent, too. And, since my Lotte Berk Method DVDs are due back at the library today, I did a medley of Basic Essentials and Muscle Eats Fat. From B.E. I did the warm-up (b/c it makes me get 20 push-ups and tricep dips in - I know I can do those on my own - but I never do!) and the barre work. I skipped abs (I don't do abs in this style b/c it hurts my back) and I skipped "shape by stretch". From M.E.F. I did the weight section, the barre work, the knee dancing and the stretch (so, basically, the whole thing minus the warm-up). Not bad for someone who lacked motivation this morning. Having a good first workout w/ helped tremendously, it also loosened up my back which was tight this morning. When I return these to the library today I'll see if they have the Bar Method w/ Burr Leonard or maybe I'll borrow High Round Assets from the LBM, if it is available.

Tomororw some form of cardio (30 min or less) and Ellen's Cruch Super Slimdown Yoga Pilates Blend!Take care -

Donna
