Guest guest
My son has been taking Valtrex for many years. He experienced rapid improvement with it and we still notice a difference when he misses a dose. However, recently it seems that the Valtrex isn't quite as effective. He's having many days where his right hand isn't as easy to use -- something the immune doctor we saw said was a big sign of viral involvement. We are considering asking his doctor to have him try a new anti-viral. I'm curious to know which anti-viral medications others have found to be effective. I hear talk of Imunovir and my son was on Famvir many years ago. Any others? Gaylen
Guest guest
Gaylen, It isn't a med but some have had good results with LDM100. There is some info about it on mb12 valtrex list. I've used it with my son but didn't see much. I didn't see anything with valtrex either though. > > My son has been taking Valtrex for many years. Guest guest
Dr Volpe has an approach you might like to discuss with him. It's using a form of Vit C. It can be done IV or oral. We've also used D-lenolate. I prefer to stick in the natural category on this issue. Homeopathy I believe a good route also. http://www.doctorvolpe.com/autism.html > > My son has been taking Valtrex for many years.
