As a member of RMAC (raw milk association of Colo) I would suggest you check out

our website. I think you can find Boarding Contract, Bill of Sale . . .all sorts of info there. website is rawmilkcolorado.org Our group does recommend testing

animal; TB, Brucelossis, CAE (goat) maybe (cow ?). . .also milk testing recommend; Ecoli, Salmonella, SPC.

I've been up and running for awhile so I might be a bit 'rusty' on what is there and how

practical it might be for you. I'm a goat dairy, and think the suggestions for a cow dairy are a bit different too. . .

Does anyone have a checklist for making sure I am totally legal ~ and safe ~ to market raw milk in Ohio?

Are there tests for the cows . . .

I know we can do herdshares, because I am a consumer, but I have been lucky enough to be offered a cow. I think it will be too much milk for my needs.

Any suggestions? Resources?

we have a Goat farm near here and they are not allowed to sell raw milk..

neither are the Amish or any other local farmer. So I would Say no.. I have been

told by meny of them that they cannot sell it raw.. it has to be pasturised..

otherwise thats all we would drink.
