Guest guest
no testing allowed in the usa. A2 corperation has it all locked up. And wont allow any testing. You cant even ship samples to NZ A1-A2 Testing Hi, We would like to test our milk cow to find out if she is A2. Anyone know where we can get her tested? Thanks! Guest guest
just because you use A2 bulls wont get you an A2 calf. Its the same principal of red hair color. each parent has to cary both A2 genes to get 100 percent A2 calves. Just using an A2 bull would take over 15 years to convert your whole herd. Guest guest
Just when I think I've heard it all! How difficult would it be to develop your own test? Can a cow be imported from another country that has been tested. There is always a way around ignorance.Toni Sent from my iPhoneNmidaughterseyes@...On Jan 21, 2010, at 10:22 AM, "a_milkman72@..." wrote: no testing allowed in the usa. Guest guest
You are kidding me. Could you explain what you mean by A2 corporation? I was just at a meeting where a breeder was talking about having his cows tested. No one mentioned anything about this.... > > no testing allowed in the usa. A2 corperation has it all locked up. Guest guest
A New Zealand Corporation owns the test, owns the name, and has conducted and owns the " studies " that claim A2 is better for you. New Zealand cows, by their " studies " , are A2. U.S. cows, by their " studies " , are not. I'll bet you all $10 that the intention is to collapse the U.S. dairy industry with their " studies " and then have an exclusive monopoly to sell their milk to us. And we're all playing right into their hands by continually worrying about the A1/A2 status of our milk and cows. Holsteins were developed in the 1700s (by cross-breeding) to be good grazers. Was there an increase in heart disease and asthma in the 1700s? Things like heart disease and asthma are also attributed to vaccines, homogenization of milk, margarine, etc. How do we know it's attributed to A1 milk? Because some corporation who owns the patent on the test said so? Remember, correlation is not causation. Just because some " studies " (like the ones pharma companies do to prove their drugs are safe?) say their may be a correlation, does not mean there is causation. When have most of us trusted any studies BIG CORPORATIONS do? Tread carefully. Cheryl
