Hi ,

I have been in a similar situation as yours.  I have an 8 1/2 year old daughter

who's Dad doesn't have his " stuff " together either.  I talked with my lawyer and

she told me to get a letter from my daughter's doctor.  The doctor stated her

disabilities (she has Syndrome along with Autism) and he stated the

absolute need for sameness.  The Judge took one look at that letter and that was

all he needed to see.  We ended up having supervised visitation at our local

Child and Parent Services building. This was a good solution for us.  The

visiting always took place in the same location and I knew she was safe.  This

made it easier on my daughter.  I hope everything works out for you. Just keep

being an advocate for your daughter. Good Luck!  Coretta
