Guest guest
LOVE the attitude about not a option to miss!!! That's pretty-much how i look at it unless it's totally out of my hands.I hope the new routine works for you. Sorry to hear about the migraines and sleep issues. Good for you for pushing forward despite.......... Darcy It's not an option to miss workouts. I hate it when I lose ground.
Guest guest
Good plan, Aneglica. It could be allergy/climate issues that are causing your headaches. Lately I have been waking up w/ them as well - and I rarely get headaches of any type. I think I'm allergic to mold (it has been very wet here lately), and, to a lesser extent, tree pollen - everything is covered in it! My headaches are worse when we have had rain - so that is why I think "mold"! Anyway - I used to be an evening workout person - I only switched to mornings when my DD was born and that just has worked. Overall, I'd say my strength and endurance is much better later in the day - but I stick w/ mornings b/c that is when I know I can for sure - absolutely get it done! Take care! Donna Subject: New planTo: "exercisevideos " <exercisevideos >Date: Thursday, April 30, 2009, 10:09 AM It's become increasingly clear that I can't depend upon morningworkouts. I have had such a problem with insomnia, and the migrainesare coming back. I often wake up at 2 a.m., and then can't get back tosleep for a couple of hours, even when I've worked out, and even ifI've eaten well. I often feel so yucky when I get up that my workoutssuffer. I'm too unfocused to safely wield any iron. This is allhormonal stuff, I'm sure. I woke up in time this morning, but my headaches and I can't focus. So, I have to change my afternoon routine. I never think of workingout after work because I've been a morning exerciser for so long. Butnow I can't always manage that. Here's the plan for today:1. Eat clean throughout the day so that I'm clearheaded when I gethome. I'll pick up some easy-to-prep food for my post workout dinner.2. Eat a light snack about half an hour before I walk home so I'm notstarving when I walk through the door.3. Change into my workout clothes first thing when I get home. It's not an option to miss workouts. I hate it when I lose ground.Happy workouts,

Guest guest
, I'm sorry to hear you have bouts of insomnia and migraines. I hope working out after work will work for you! I like that time slot myself, but what I run into is:1) coming to the workout on a fuller tummy makes me sluggish2) once I get home from work I am easily distracted. Once I see those cute fuzzy faces coming toward me wanting loves and to play the desire to work out seems to fade away. Let us know how it goes! Guest guest
Thank you. I did half of Kettlebell Way when I got home. I will always try to sleep well and work out in the morning, but I need to have this no-excuses plan. > > > LOVE the attitude about not a option to miss!!! Guest guest
Hi Donna, You too? I hope you feel better. Who knows? It has been very windy here, so there's stuff all stirred up in the air. It felt more like migraines because I had those weird, bright zig-zag lights in my vision, and I never sneeze or have a stuffy nose. We just have to roll with the punches, right? I much prefer the morning workout, but I'm not making any more excuses. Funny, but I felt more coordinated and strong this afternoon, but at the same time, I felt much less inspired or driven. I'll adjust. I hope to do a morning cardio and tai chi session tomorrow morning. > > > Good plan, Aneglica. > > It could be allergy/climate issues that are causing your headaches. Guest guest
I'll be watching to hear how this works for you, . I'm so inspired when I read about people realizing routines just aren't working and then taking steps to change them so they can get what they want instead of giving up altogether.
