Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am behind on my e-mails, but have been working to catch up. So if you are getting a reply from me from a topic that was from last week that is why. I had my parents move me to the basement where it is cooler. I had to wait for my brother to come home to wire a telephone jack so that I could access the internet from my laptop in the basement. Yes we still have old Dial-Up Access. We have no access to DSL or Cable where we live. Anyway the reason I am writing. I was bit by an insect (either a mosquito or a spider) in between Saturday Night and Sunday Morning. Sunday Morning I found a 50 cent piece size reaction on my right calf. My leg kind of itched, but just assumed it was a bug bite. We did put some Porters Drawing Salve on it to try and draw out the toxins. Well on Monday my stomach got upset when I was eating lunch. I thought at the time it was what I was eating not even thinking it might be associated with the bite. Monday night I had my parents look at my leg and the entire calf was covered in Rash. It looked like a Still's Rash. Tuesday I was exhausted. Again I thought it was because I sat for 3 hours having my hair colored (Got it done for 1/2 price). It wasn't supposed to take that long but the gal doing my hair was the only one there and there were a lot of people coming in to buy hair product on Monday. Anyway after my hair was done I went and did my Aquatic Therapy and that helped relax the muscles that were setting up from having to sit so long. So again I thought my Fatigue was from over doing. Tuesday around noon I woke up with a fever. My fever got up to 101.5 (That is High for me). My PCP is not in on Tuesday so I suffered last night. After taking Tylenol and my Percocet (and Don't lecture me on combining the 2 I realized my mistake right after I did it. Fortunately I am only taking 2 to 3 percocet per day in addition to my fentynal patches right now.) and icing down my head and torso I was able to drop my Fever to 100.2. This morning it was down to 99.5. Then about 1:00pm EDT my face has a nice Butterfly rash on my cheeks and nose. There is a little bit of the Rash on my forehead, but mostly on my cheeks and nose. I am going to see my PCP today at 4:30 EDT. The problems is I don't if my abdominal cramping is part of the reaction to the bite or the what I have been dealing with for the last several months from my Endometriosis. I don't know what is going on, but please pray that it is nothing severe. I am worried I might have let this go too long and that it might interfere with me being able to have my hysterectomy on August 5th. I have had a little trouble with my breathing, so I don't know what to expect. Please pray that it is nothing serious and that I won't have to be hospitalized or have complications because I waited so long. Thanks, Fayette, OH
