Guest guest
Hi! DD's school is having a fund raiser at the local ice rink - I have NEVER ice skated (and only roller skated a couple of times YEARS ago). I kind of want to try it - but I'm a bit scared - what can I expect? Do they have beginner skates or anything like that? How hard is it to get the hang of it? I'd say my balance overall is pretty good - do they give newbies little walkers or anything to help them out on the ice? LOL! I'd really like to try it as I've been thinking about lessons for DD - and this would be a good way to see if it is something she'd like to do while raising money for our school. How much pain am I likely to be in? (And, where can I get those pants that Dianne posted about after Naye's tailbone injury?) Take care!
