Behavior Therapist

Hello,

My name is Rhonda J. Greenhaw, and I am a therapist working towards board

certification. I am currently seeking new clients, and I am particularly

interested in working with early learners (ages 1 through 5). I am experienced

with Functional Behavior Assessments, ABLLS, and Verbal Behavior, Celeration,

video modeling, social skills training, and the use of social stories. I am also

adept at training and supervising other staff. In addition, I am the mother of a

seven year-old daughter on the spectrum, so I have an in depth understanding of

the issues from the perspective of a practitioner, and as a parent, which I

think makes me a much more empathic therapist. I have extensive graduate

training in Psychology, and in two weeks will be finished with my Masters in

Psychology, with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. In September I am

starting the post-Master's course work in Applied Behavior Analysis, and my work

will be supervised by board certified behavior analysts through my graduate

school.

My practice uses a holistic approach to therapy, with a child-directed process

that employs a great deal of natural environment learning. The child's needs are

considered first and foremost, and any behavior issues are resolved using a

respectful, positive approach. Behavior is a form of communication, so I place a

lot of emphasis on finding the function of the behavior, and addressing it in a

proactive manner. I truly believe that the use of reinforcing experiences is the

best means of inducing significant and lasting behavior changes. I also

emphasize and develop the child's strengths, which enable them to grow and

develop in a supportive environment.

My rate is $30.00/hour, a great rate for an experienced therapist, particularly

considering that I will have an entire university department with which to

consult. My sessions with your child will be recorded, so my supervisors can

view my work. I would be happy to provide you with a copy of the recordings,

which will make a great documentation of your child's therapeutic history.

I am located in Germantown, Wisconsin, so I would be available to work in

clients' homes in Northern Milwaukee County, Ozaukee County, and Washington

County. I also have clients in Waukesha, so I would be able to take clients

there as well.
