Guest guest Posted April 20, 2012 Report Share Posted April 20, 2012 I used a bad batch of tea and all my scoobies are now bad.The tea was Pu-ehr tea bought on Amazon. The batches produced stray bacteria and made us sick.The furment had a strange,white deposite that I never saw before. Tried cleaning the vessels with hot water and vinegar,cleaning the scoobies and using good tea, but the new ferment is still very slow and questionable. Hopefully I can travel to get one close to State College, Pa. or will pay shipping and handling.Please respond or call leave msg.
