Guest guest
Oooo PUB and PLB are also dynamite Cathe workouts! I took two rest days in a row, very unusual for me but my legs are sore from running and spinning. I'm starting to get excited for Sunday's race! Tomorrow it's back up at 4:00 for Push Circuit 2 - I'm telling you all this to be held accountable! Hi All! My computer has been down for a few days and I just got it back (and and am still having problems but can send/receive email) but I have been busy! Here's my workouts for the last few days: Tuesday: 1st workout on Kathy 's Walking for Weight Loss DVD so between that and the cooldown/stretch I did about 38 minutes. Wednesday: Cathe Slow & Heavy: Chest and Back!!!! I am loving these workouts!!! I am SO SORE today too!!!! I went as heavy as I could and in some cases, was wishing I had heavier dumbbells (my heaviest are 15s). Then there were other times that I realized my form was off and that what I thought was too easy was because of my form. When I made corrections, the weights I had were just fine! I also realized that I'm a lot stronger than I thought I was too. I was almost able to match Cathe on some weights, that was pretty cool! Thursday: Today was really messed up. TOM arrived last night and I was grouchy this morning (as DH lovingly pointed out to me, he didn't know, he just said, " Are you feeling alright? You're acting kind of short with everyone. " ) and when I went to do my workout, the trend just continued. I started out wanting to do Charlene Prickett " Start Your Engines. " I did this once before and loved it but today I could not get the very simple choreography right, kept bumping into furniture and couldn't get my heart rate even into the 100s so after 10 minutes, I was so frustrated, I gave up. Then I put on Tamilee Webb's Buns of Steel 2000 which is a very simple step routine and again, I was just totally messing up, couldn't do anything right and took that out. Finally, I was running out of time, had accomplished nothing and decided if I was going to do anything only one of 's no choreography walking workouts would do so I pulled out Walk Slim and did the 2 mile walk. I had gotten really sick of her " agitating " with Jimmy on this one and hadn't done it in a long time. When I did it today it didn't bother me at all. I worked really hard to make up for all the messing around with other videos and ended up feeling like I got a decent workout in! Tomorrow is the last of the Slow & Heavy workouts (Biceps & Triceps) and I'm looking forward to it. I'm thinking of either repeating those next week or trying some of Cathe's other workouts I have that I've been intimidated by (like Pyramid Upper Bod and Pyramid Lower Body)! We'll see though. So far, this has been a very successful workout week! I am planning for Saturday to be a rest day and Sunday will be a short cardio (possibly the kickboxing workout from Calorie Explosion) and a long stretch (possibly Power Half Hour Stretch).
